It’s crafted by over 800 women farmers across Huehuetenango and Baja Verapaz, whose dedication and skill shine through in every cup.

Grown at elevations up to 6,500 feet in the remote highlands of Huehuetenango, this coffee benefits from dry, frost-free conditions and rich volcanic soil. Guatemala’s mountainous terrain and microclimates—shaped by centuries of volcanic activity—make it one of the world’s most distinctive coffee origins. The La Morena program, launched in 2016, has grown from a small micro-lot into a powerful platform for gender equity in coffee farming.
